Me and my wife had an amazing experience at this restaurant yesterday! The food was awesome, the atmosphere was cozy (weather also) and the staff was incredibly friendly. Highly recommend!

I had the pleasure of dining here for the first time tonight and chose to sit outside. Our waitress, Melanie, made the experience exceptional. She asked if it was our first time dining there and took the time to explain the entire menu in detail, offering great suggestions on what to order. The food was incredible—everything was so fresh. However, the highlight of the meal was definitely the tiramisu for dessert; it was simply the best. Melanie also recommended a fantastic wine that we ended up loving. We can't wait to come back and dine here again, thanks to Melanie for making our experience so wonderful.

Absolutely authentic and incredibly delicious Italian dishes! We had the linguine with seafood (no heat) and a Ceasar salad. Like my mom's. Old school flavor with modern touches. Marvelous! And 1 serving was shareable!

Bonu ' Tavera is on my top list of Italian restaurants! We came here for our anniversary and the food tasted so fresh! It's a heck yes from me! Presentation, taste and the vibes were all spot on!

We had a private party here in the back room. Everything was set to perfection. The beef short ribs and polenta were out of this world. The owner herself handled the party as well as the parter who is the DJ and let me tell you EVERYTHING WAS TOP KNOTCH !!! My taste buds ate still zooming. The drinks were phenomenal ! Can’t wait to come back for date night.

We were only in St. Petersburg for one night, but stumbling upon Bonu Taverna Italiana felt like discovering a local secret. From the moment we passed by, something about the warm glow, inviting atmosphere, and lively energy pulled us in—and we’re so glad it did. The food was absolutely delicious—elevated Italian classics made with clear attention to detail and fresh ingredients. Every dish we tried was full of flavor and beautifully presented. But what truly set the evening apart was the incredible service. A heartfelt thank you to our server, Cenk, who was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. And a special shoutout to Sam, the host, whose radiant energy lights up the whole place. Chatting with her was a highlight of the evening—she makes you feel like you’re not just a guest, but part of the Bonu family. The ambiance is intimate yet vibrant, perfect for a romantic dinner or a relaxed evening out. If you’re in St. Pete and looking for a memorable dining experience, don’t miss this place. We’re already waiting of our next visit.

I can’t remember the last time I had such an amazing meal. The gnocchi was so delicious and the chocolate desert tasted like heaven. And our waitress was so friendly and nice. My husband had some drops of sauce in his shirt and she was quick to offer him help to clean it.

Absolutely delicious, everything was great no complaints!!Our server was amazing, I cannot remember her name but she had gauges in. She was great and attentive. My favorite part was the olives i cant lie !! The owner was very nice too
